Wonderfull Friendship
Jessica the most beautiful girl in
her hometown, Lumajang. A lot people in her hometown really loved her. She was
kind, friendly, brave and honest girl. Beside that she had beautiful black eyes
and black long hair. Jessica had one best friend, named Alex. Alex was a great
man, he always protect and care so much
about Jess. He had brown eyes and taller than Jess with six pack body.
Alex already like big brother for Jess. They had been friends since they were 7
years old.
Now they were in same Senior High
School just different class. So, they usually went to school together. Alex
always picked up Jess with his motorcycle. In break time they always went to
canteen together. Even their friends thought they were lover, but Alex and Jess
explained about their relationship to their friends to avoid misunderstanding.
Because Alex knew that almost boys in his school was adore Jess, as well with
Jess. She also knew that many girls really like Alex.
22th September 2012,
Alex got news from his dad that his family had to move from Lumajang because
his dad had been transferred to Bandung. Alex not respond what his dad said, he
just straight away to pick Jess for school. In front of Jess’s home Alex wait
her, unlike that usual sat on the teracce. Jess heard Alex’s motor, she
directly out of her house. She shouted “Mom! I go to school with Alex” “Okay
dear, be careful”, Jess’s mom answered. When Jess would ride Alex’s motor, she
saw something different in Alex.
“Are you okay, Lex?”, asked Jess to
Alex.
“Yap, absolutely fine. Why you ask
me something like that?”, answered Alex, with forced smile.
“Nope, I just saw something
different from you. Ah, maybe it just my feeling. Okay c’mon go to school
quickly. I forgot my home work again.”
“oh my god Jess! Okay let’s go.”
Jess grabbed Alex’s waist and they went to school.
During school Alex can’t concentrate
to his school, “What I must say to Jess that I have to move from here, will she
okay without me, will she can protect herself..”. “Alex! Please concentration
or you can out from my class now!”, Mr. Tris yelled to Alex. “Yeah, sir! I’m
sorry”, Alex apologized.
On the other hand, Jess kept
believe that something happened to Alex. Because he not accompanied her to
canteen like usual. Jess thought if she had made mistake, “but what mistake I
have done? Oh, Alex what happening to you. Don’t make me worry about you.”
Bell has rang mean it was time to
go home. Alex wait Jess in parking area. He wait Jess approximately ten
minutes, Jess walked with big smile towards Alex.
“Jess, can we go to our favorite café
first? I really miss that café.” Asked Alex when Jess would rise to his motor.
“Of course yes we can go there
without my permission! I also miss my banana chocolate milkshake. Hmm it make
me starving.”
Twenty minutes later they arrived
at Seven Stars Café. They sat on the corner café that face with street. A
waiter came and wrote all their order. While waited their order, they chit
chat, joke that made them laughed loud. Alex looked at Jess’s face, the black
eyes, long black hair that always shine like diamond. “uh if I leave her, I will miss her so bad,
look how beautiful her. Her laugh, her smile, her eyes, her hair.”
“Lex? Alex! Do you hear me? What’s
wrong with you?”, Jess shake Alex’s shoulder whe she knew Alex didn’t listen to
her.
“Huh? I hear what you say, Jess. I
am okay.”
“No, you aren’t, c’mon what you
hide from me? Tell me!”
“Actually, I will…” before Alex
finished, a waiter came and brought their order. Banana chocolate milkshake, 2
big cheese burger, and french
fries for Jess. Strawberry smoothie and chocolate molten cake for Alex. That
was their favorite cuisine in Seven Stars.
“Okay let’s eat.. its look delicious!”, Jess said like a
child. They eat their food. In half, Jess asked Alex to continue what he said
just now.
“Actually, I will move from Lumajang.”
Heard that Jessica choke her burger, she drank her
milkshake. Then she ask to Alex, “Are you kidding, right? Please don’t make
joke such thing like this, Lex.”
“I am serious, look my eyes Jessica! Is there a lie in
there? I say the truth.”
“Where and when you move? Why?”
“To Bandung and I don’t know when we move, about three
more day maybe. Because my dad have a job there. He don’t want leave me alone
in here.”
“So, you will leave me soon, Lex?”. Jessica’s face turned
sad, so does Alex.
“Yeah, but I really stay here. With you, my greatest
friend ever, Jessica Resoprawiro.”
“I know, I also feel that way too. I really do not want
to lose my best big bro, Alexander Wiryowisastro. But all of this for you best.
Go to Bandung. And I will wait you here. Maybe I will get into collage in there
so we will stay together again.” Jessica said gave strength to Alex. Alex not
answer it, just replied it with a smile.
Didn’t want to sad took so long, with a cheery smile ala
Jessica. Jess asked Alex to walked around their hometown. Alex leave money on
their table and went to comply Jess’s request. They went to park, took
pictures, bought ice cream. Then went to cinema. Day by day they spend more
time together.
Tomorrow was the day. The day Alex should leave his
beauty friend. That night Alex couldn’t sleep well. He thought about Jess a
lot. “What is this feeling, why I can’t stop thinking about her. Every time I
imagine that I will leave her there is something won’t leave her. Oh god what
happen to me, she my best friend. Am I in love with Jessica?”
At the same time Jessica couldn’t sleep too. She thought
what she should do without Alex. A few days ago Jess felt something different on
her, she didn’t like to see Alex with another girl except her. When Alex hugged
her in park yesterday she felt her blood flew faster, her heart beat faster
too. “No! I am not in love with him! He was my best friend. He already like my
brother. I can’t!” denied Jess.
The next day, Alex prepared all his stuff to be brought
to Bandung. Furniture and electronic had been moved a few days ago by a local
service. So, Alex and family brought their daily stuff only. They went to
Bandung by airplane. They ready went to airport. The flight was delayed one
hour, while waiting Alex look for Jess but he didn’t saw her. “She certainly
don’t be here.” Thougth Alex disappointed.
Jess down from taxi in a hurry. She ran into airport and
saw flight schedule to Bandung. Jess so sad she lose her chance to say goodbye
to Alex.
Alex felt that he saw Jessica just now, but he not sure
with what he saw. For sure he went to search her. “Ah that’s her…”. Alex ran
toward her and grabbed her hand. She turned toward him, “Who are you?” “Oh, I
am sorry, I think you somebody else.” Alex apologized and went from there. He
search, search and search again. And now he sure that girl who wore a red black
jacket was his with long black hair was Jessica.
Didn’t want wasted time, Alex ran toward her. Hugged her
from behind while Jessica shocked. But she knew who a guy was being hugged her.
She knew from his smell, his way hugged her she felt comfort, warm in his hug.
“Before I know it, its in my whole system, and I start to
feel sweaty, my heart races, I feel weak at the knees and I can’t think about
anything else except, you Jessica.”
“I really…”
“ssstt, don’t say a word I don’t wanna hear.”
Jess turned her body, now they facing each other. Jess
stare Alex’s eyes and “I love you too, Alex.”. Then Alex hug her and gave
Jessica forehead kiss.
“Wait me in there, I will go there and get collage in
there.” Jess whispered.
“Always dear.”
